This program is AWESOME! It is highly motivating. My students are thinking and acting like scientists. Their problem solving skills and writing skills have improved greatly.

The STC Program allows students to gain a true understanding of the content. This understanding is gained by “doing” science versus “reading” science.

The introduction of STC programs to our curriculum has really enriched student learning. The experience makes students really think and apply their knowledge. It has made my teaching experience dynamic and exciting.

With this program my students get to learn science by doing, not by reading about it.

The STC program opens students minds through inquiry and makes a noticable improvement in their understanding of principles and concepts.

The Carolina STC program is the best I’ve used in 14 years. My students are learning and excited to come to science class. At least half of my students say science is their favorite subject. THis is up from about 10-15%. My students access prior knowledge and apply it to new situations without being prompted to do so.

Hello! I am a 7 th and 8 th grade science teacher in Folsom, NJ. I have been examining the STC MS program modules and I would like to be able to talk with some teachers who have implemented this product. I would really like to hear about both the positives and negatives of this system, especially after transitioning from a traditional textbook-lab book based system. Can anyone help? My email is croth@folsomschool.org. Thanks so much!
