Organisms Unit: Planting Our Seeds lesson 3
By the end of the unit your students will understand that:
Plants and animals are two kinds of organisms. Organisms are similar in some ways and different in others.
The new starting point in the life cycle of a plant is a seed.
Terrariums and aquariums may be used as models to examine the interactions between plants and animals in their natural environment.
Humans, like other organisms, depend and have an impact on their environment.
Animals and plants in nature have evolved to form closely knit, interdependent systems.
Guided questions to use with STC® in your technology center:
* What do we need to do to take care of the seeds?
* Where should we put the planted seeds?
* What are some things that you would like to learn about seeds? What did you find out?
Gather your observations and share them with me below. I would love to share your observations, predictions, and data!
